Andrei isn’t just Dylan’s older brother—he’s been a lifelong role model, a steady anchor, and a constant source of inspiration. From his academic and professional accomplishments to the way he moves through life with courage, kindness, and authenticity, Andrei set the tone early on for what it means to lead with both heart and integrity. As Dylan often says, “Andrei walked so I could run.”
Their bond runs deep. From midnight superhero movie premieres and college essay brainstorming sessions to their love-hate relationship with baseball and their shared journey of embracing their Cuban and Spanish roots, Andrei has been by Dylan’s side through it all. Time, distance, and adulthood may have taken them to opposite sides of the country, but theirs is the kind of brotherhood that can’t be separated by land or miles.
Dylan is endlessly grateful—not just for the years of brotherly advice, laughter, and support—but especially for Andrei’s presence now. Showing up when it matters most has always been part of who Andrei is, and having him stand beside Dylan as Best Man is something truly special. It was never even a question—it just had to be him.
Fun fact: Bret had always looked forward to finally meeting Andrei, though we assumed it would take some time with Andrei living in L.A. and us in Miami. But the universe had other plans. While we were visiting Atlanta, we ended up randomly running into him—completely unplanned, totally unexpected, and honestly kind of magical. That moment only confirmed what we already believed: that nothing in our relationship has ever been by chance. Every step, every person, every twist has felt like it was already written in the stars.
Kelly Prince | Officiant
Kelly and Bret go way back…like, all the way to Mr. Bill’s kindergarten class. They’ve been close friends ever since, sharing countless laughs, inside jokes, and a particularly memorable (and slightly weird in retrospect) “wedding” at a middle school summer camp, performed in front of an entire auditorium of fellow tweens.
Their friendship is the kind that wins superlatives—literally. They were co-winners of “Most Humorous” in school because no one could pick between them. But beyond the humor and hilarious memories, Kelly has been a constant presence through every season of life—offering support, showing up, and being the kind of friend who truly sticks around when it matters most.
Kelly was also one of the first of Bret’s friends to meet Dylan—back when Bret may or may not have exaggerated how long they’d been dating just to make it less awkward to bring him along on a trip. (There’s even a chance the words “he’s the one” were tossed around... after only two weeks.) That weekend, Dylan and Kelly formed their own bond—making it even easier for Bret to keep falling in love.
When it came time to choose someone to marry us, we knew we wanted someone who truly knows us, who has seen the full picture, and who could bring the heart and the humor. Kelly was the obvious choice—someone who has been part of our story from the beginning, and someone we couldn’t imagine this moment without.
We’re so honored to have Kelly as our officiant and can’t wait for her to help us kick off this next chapter.
CJ Casteel | Best Man
CJ and Bret met in Nashville so many years ago that, honestly, a kid born on that very day could legally have a driver’s license by now. Bret was posted up at a bar when they struck up a conversation that felt like they had known each other for a lifetime. From that moment on, they’ve shared countless trips, wild stories, and unforgettable experiences—but more importantly, they’ve always shown up for each other. Despite living in different cities for much of their friendship, their connection never faded. A single phone call is all it takes to catch up—something especially meaningful considering Bret hates talking on the phone. But CJ is the exception. He’s one of the few people Bret doesn’t mind talking to for hours, even if it’s 3am and CJ is somehow standing in front of a concert speaker (how he hears anything is still a mystery), and the call inevitably turns into FaceTime.
When CJ met Dylan, it was like they had known each other for years. There was an instant bond, no warm-up needed. CJ immediately considered Dylan family—just as he and Bret have always considered each other family. And it makes sense—Dylan’s sincerity, innocence, and genuine care for people are impossible to miss. That moment just confirmed what Bret already knew: that CJ would always be one of his people, and now, one of their people.
Kaylin Bailey | Flower Woman
Kaylin and Dylan met during their freshman year at the University of Florida through the Hispanic Student Association — and from the very beginning, it was clear they’d found more than just a friend in each other. Their connection grew quickly into something deeper: a bond rooted in laughter, trust, and the kind of conversations that range from pop culture hot takes to in-depth debates on politics, policy, and financial markets.
Over the years, they’ve hiked mountains, skied down snowy slopes, and survived countless bottomless brunches — despite both tapping out after two mimosas. Whether they’re sharing memes, life advice, or just a daily check-in, Kaylin has been a steady, stylish, and joyful presence in Dylan’s life for over a decade.
It’s only fitting that she takes on the role of Flower Woman — a chosen sister and one of the few people who knows Dylan to his core.
Fun fact: Kaylin is one of only two people on earth (the other being Bret) who has ever convinced Dylan to go camping, mudding, and shoot skeet in the great outdoors. If that’s not love, we don’t know what is.
Cami Carrillo | Flower Woman
Dylan met Cami during his freshman year at the University of Florida through the Hispanic Student Association — and from the moment they connected, they became instant family. What started as a student org friendship quickly turned into a lifelong bond, full of laughter, unforgettable adventures, and lessons in how to celebrate life with unapologetic joy.
Cami has always been Dylan’s reminder to not take life too seriously — to find happiness in the everyday moments: dinner at a chain restaurant, shopping in a packed mall, and going all-out for every single holiday like it was the last one ever. In fact, her signature move was refusing to join Dylan at Olive Garden, Chili’s, or Outback — until he got over his fear of dining alone. (He eventually did.)
Cami is also the reason Dylan fell in love with planning events. Her boundless creativity and wild imagination inspired some of their most cherished college memories — especially the legendary 21st birthday bash she threw for him, lovingly titled “50 Shades of Santalo.” We’ll just say: if you were there, you know.
Through every season of life, Cami has been the sunshine on Dylan’s cloudy days and a constant voice encouraging him to live boldly in the moment. Asking her to be one of our flower women wasn’t a decision — it was a must. She’s family, she’s magic, and she’ll be bringing all that energy down the aisle.
